Girlyveda launches #PeriodPositiveIndia

In a step toward creating a more compassionate, informed, and equitable society, Girlyveda, an Ayurveda-led women’s wellness brand, has launched its nationwide #Period PositiveIndia campaign. Rooted in social responsibility, the initiative aims to normalise conversations around menstruation while addressing the persistent issue of period poverty that continues to affect millions of girls across India.
At the heart of the campaign lies a simple yet powerful idea: transforming everyday digital participation into real-world social impact. Through #Period PositiveIndia, initative every new expression of support on social media contributes directly to the donation of sanitary pads for the women who lack access to basic menstrual hygiene products.
This initiative acknowledges that menstruation is not just a health issue but a matter of dignity, confidence, and equalopportunity. Through on-ground collaborations with local organisations, Girlyveda has already enabled the distribution of 50,000 sanitary pads across underserved communities, including parts of Delhi-NCR, with plans to expand further through collective participation.
