DTU Crossword Contest 2026 Enthralls Students Despite Heavy Rains

The DTU Crossword Contest 2026 was successfully held on Friday at the campus of Delhi Technological University (DTU), witnessing enthusiastic participation from students across Delhi. The contest was organized under the able guidance of Prof. Prateek Sharma, Vice Chancellor, DTU, and Prof. S. Indu, Dean, Digital Education, DTU.
The initiative for the event was taken by Prof. Ramesh Agrawal, School of Computer and System Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), reflecting a strong spirit of academic collaboration. The seamless coordination of the contest was handled by Dr. Trasha Gupta, Assistant Professor, Department of Applied Mathematics, DTU.
The event saw registrations from 60 students representing various institutions across Delhi. The contest itself was conducted by Vinayak Ekbote, whose engaging and professional conduct added to the excitement of the competition.
The event was supported by Beltron and Central Bank of India. After an intense and intellectually stimulating contest, the first prize went to Adya Singh of St. Stephen’s College, second prize to Satyam Tiwari, DTU and third was adjudged to Aadishri Kher also from DTU.
The DTU Crossword Contest 2026 not only celebrated linguistic skill and logical thinking but also highlighted the determination and enthusiasm of students who braved adverse weather to participate. The event reinforced DTU’s commitment to fostering intellectual curiosity and creating platforms that encourage academic excellence beyond the classroom.
