Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan urges NEET candidates to appear fearlessly and without anxiety

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has appealed to students appearing for the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination to remain calm, confident, and free from anxiety. Addressing the nearly 22.8 lakh candidates set to take the medical entrance test, he expressed full faith in the National Testing Agency (NTA), state governments, and district administrations to ensure a fair and transparent examination process.
Pradhan encouraged students to focus on their preparation and appear for the examination without fear or worry. He emphasized that the government has taken extensive measures to maintain the integrity of the test and protect the interests of students. The minister also urged all stakeholders to avoid actions or statements that could negatively affect the mental well-being of candidates ahead of the crucial examination.
The NEET-UG 2026 re-examination is being conducted under heightened security arrangements across thousands of centres in India and abroad. Authorities have deployed CCTV surveillance, biometric verification, signal jammers, and strict monitoring systems to ensure a smooth and malpractice-free examination.
The minister's message comes as students prepare for one of the country's most important entrance examinations, with officials assuring transparency, fairness, and student welfare throughout the process.
