Three Minors Apprehended After 40-Year-Old Man Dies in Delhi Knife Attack

Three minors were apprehended on Friday in connection with the alleged stabbing and subsequent death of a 40-year-old man in north Delhi's Timarpur area, police said.
The incident took place in Patrakar Basti, where the victim, identified as Madan, was sitting under a tree near his residence.
According to police, the three accused allegedly attacked Madan with a knife. Despite suffering injuries, he attempted to escape from the spot and ran for some distance while bleeding heavily.
He eventually collapsed on the road, following which his family members rushed him to a nearby hospital in an auto-rickshaw. The doctors later referred him to a higher medical facility, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment, police said.
Following the incident, police apprehended three minors allegedly linked to the attack and began investigating the circumstances surrounding the killing.
Investigators are examining CCTV footage from the area and gathering other evidence to establish the sequence of events and determine the circumstances that led to the fatal assault.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
