Delhi CM Rekha Gupta visits Max Saket Hospital, reviews treatment of Malviya Nagar fire victims

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday visited Max Super Speciality Hospital Saket to meet and inquire about the health of those injured in the tragic Malviya Nagar fire incident.
During the visit, the Chief Minister interacted with doctors and hospital authorities to review the medical condition of patients admitted after the blaze, which claimed multiple lives and left several others critically injured.
Officials said the CM was briefed on the treatment being provided, including the status of patients on ventilator support and those in intensive care. She also directed hospital staff and authorities to ensure the best possible care for the victims.
The visit comes amid a broader government response to the fire tragedy in South Delhi’s Malviya Nagar area, where a massive blaze at a hotel building led to multiple fatalities and raised serious concerns over fire safety compliance and regulatory violations.
Authorities have launched an investigation into possible lapses, including violations of building and fire safety norms, while rescue and relief efforts continue for the injured.a
