CJP leader Abhijeet Dipke leads protest as crowds gather at Jantar Mantar

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke led a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Saturday, joining hundreds of students and young supporters demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in examinations and recruitment processes.
Security was tightened across the national capital, with Delhi Police and paramilitary personnel deployed at key locations as crowds gathered at the designated protest site. Dipke, who arrived in Delhi from the United States earlier in the day, urged supporters to continue the movement peacefully and said the country's youth would no longer remain silent on issues affecting their future.
Addressing the gathering, Dipke accused the government of focusing on the social media activities of the Cockroach Janta Party instead of responding to concerns raised by students. He claimed that attempts had been made to remove the organisation's online content but asserted that the movement would continue to grow despite such actions.
Protesters carried banners calling for a "peaceful protest" and demanding Pradhan's resignation. Slogans were raised throughout the demonstration, while a brief disruption occurred when police detained a few individuals who allegedly raised slogans against the protesters. The situation was quickly brought under control.

The protest follows Dipke's announcement earlier this week that he would return from Boston to spearhead a campaign seeking accountability over examination-related issues. The satirical online movement has gained significant support among young Indians in recent weeks, evolving into a platform highlighting concerns over education, recruitment and governance.
Authorities maintained a strong security presence throughout the event, while organisers insisted the demonstration would remain peaceful. The protest is being closely watched as it reflects growing youth engagement with education-related issues and public policy debates.
