AIC of India celebrates 23rd Foundation Day

Agriculture Insurance Company of India Limited (AIC) celebrated its 23rd Foundation Day last week, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening India’s agricultural economy through farmer-centric insurance solutions. The theme of the Foundation Day, “Ensuring Harvest and  Harvesting Trust,” reflects AIC’s continued focus on safeguarding farmers’ livelihoods while building long-term trust with stakeholders. Over the years, AIC has played a crucial role in providing comprehensive risk management support to farmers and  contributing to the resilience and  sustainability of the agricultural sector.

Addressing the occasion, Dr Lavanya R Mundayur, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, AIC, Stated: “At AIC, our focus is on creating efficient, transparent and farmer-friendly insurance solutions. We are bringing automation into every process and soon AIC will emerge as a fully digital agriculture and   allied insurance company. This transformation will further strengthen service delivery and  reinforce trust among farmers and  stakeholders.”
