CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke backs MPSC protesters, seeks resignation of key officials

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Sunday said its founder Abhijeet Dipke and party members would join students protesting over alleged paper leaks in various online examinations conducted by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC).

The announcement came after a group of MPSC aspirants met Dipke at his residence in the Waluj area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

The CJP said the agitation demanding the resignation of the MPSC chairman and secretary would continue. It added that if the demand was not met by September 24, Dipke and party members would undertake a statewide tour to meet MPSC aspirants.

Following the meeting, Dipke said in a video message, "The CJP and I are with MPSC aspirants in this fight. We will stand with the aspirants till the resignations (of top MPSC officials)."

MPSC aspirants have held protests at various places in Maharashtra, seeking transparency in the recruitment process and action over alleged paper leaks and irregularities in several examinations.  (with inputs from PTI)
