AAP Kejriwal questions BJP over Ram Temple donation row, demands accountability

AAP national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has criticized the BJP over the ongoing controversy surrounding alleged irregularities in donations made to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Questioning the government's handling of the matter, Kejriwal asked, “Whom is the government protecting?” and called for complete transparency in the investigation. The remarks come amid growing political debate over allegations related to the management and accounting of temple donations.
Kejriwal said that devotees who contribute to the temple deserve clear answers about how donations are being managed and utilized. He stressed that any allegations of financial irregularities should be thoroughly investigated and that those responsible, if found guilty, should face appropriate action. His comments add to the opposition's demand for greater accountability in the handling of funds received by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
The controversy has intensified in recent days, with several political parties and leaders seeking a detailed probe into the alleged discrepancies. The Uttar Pradesh government has already constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to examine the allegations, while opposition parties continue to question whether the investigation will be fully independent and transparent.
The Ram Temple donation issue has emerged as a major political flashpoint, with both the ruling party and opposition exchanging accusations. The findings of the ongoing investigations are expected to play a crucial role in determining the facts surrounding the allegations and restoring public confidence in the management of temple donations.
