Tourism, Art Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Sudivya Kumar Sonu on Wednesday, felicitated the participants who have returned from the National Youth Festival 2025 organized in New Delhi from January 10 January to January 12 for their outstanding achievements.
On this occasion, the Minister said that there is no dearth of talent in the youth of Jharkhand. “They have the ability to fly the flag in every field. They just need better guidance and the government will provide them all possible support, so that they can achieve their goals."
The Minister said that the easiest way to acquire knowledge is through books as they give the ability to test things. “Today's generation is very smart and the youth should develop the ability to reason and the habit of asking questions. The enthusiasm and energy of the youth is the foundation of the development of the State and the country. Only when the city, village, state will be strong, the country will also be strong. Without the development of the state, we cannot imagine the development of the country.”
Kumar further added that the State government will also organise Youth Festival at the State level in Jharkhand where participants from all over the State will participate and express their views as their talent will help in the development of the State.
Kumar congratulated the participants for participating in the National Youth Festival and said that they have not only brought laurels to the State but have also become an inspiration for the coming generations. Appreciating the youth, Kumar said that their hard work and dedication has proved that the youth of the State are no less than anyone.
Amongst the participants, Swati Raj from Dumka secured the second place in the speech competition while Shubhangi Kshitija Saurabh from Gumla and Rishit from Jamshedpur were selected to give a presentation on ‘Vikas Bhi Virasat Bhi’ to the Prime Minister.
On this occasion, Kumar presented robes and mementoes to the participants and team leaders who got first, second and third positions in the competition.
On this occasion, Rajesh Kumar, Under Secretary, Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Lalita Kumari, Director of Jharkhand Nehru Yuva Kendra, Jharkhand representation in Youth Festival and those who got first, second and third positions in the competition in Jharkhand program, Swati Raj, Rishi, Shubhangi Kshitij Saurabh, Deputy Nodal Officer, Dr. Omprakash Pandey and team Leader Purushottam were also present.
