The salary of the policemen who did not give the details of movable and immovable properties till now will not be released in the coming February.
The DGP headquarters had ordered all police officers and employees to provide details of all their movable and immovable properties acquired in the year 2024 on the Manav Sampada portal by Wednesday. The DGP headquarters had directed all the districts in this regard to ensure that the police officers and employees under them register the details of their properties on the Manav Sampada portal by January 15.
The headquarters has expressed displeasure over the very low number of policemen providing the details and has warned that disciplinary action will be taken against those policemen who have not registered the details of their movable and immovable properties on the portal within the stipulated time, as per the provisions of the UP Government Servant (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1999.
After this their salary for the month of January will not be released.
It may be mentioned that last year also the details of their properties were sought from the policemen. After Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh showed strictness, most of the employees (more than 99 per cent) of Police (Home Department) had provided the details of their properties as compared to other departments.
