After school management apologized admitting its mistake, the issue of a student beaten brutally by the school teacher was settled by mutual consent on Saturday.
In a private school of the state capital a class 11 student was beaten up by a teacher. A complaint was made to the District Education Officer on January 10. The victim's uncle Mohammad Ayub said that the school management has apologized admitting its mistake. After which the matter was settled by mutual consent.
He said that the information of this settlement will be given in writing to the District Education Officer on Monday.
The teacher beat up the student to the level that the skin on both his legs damaged and started to bleed. The student said that the teacher hit his legs like a football ball. He kicked him continuously.
The student's family has complained about this to the District Education Officer. An inquiry committee has been formed on this. The school management has denied having any knowledge of this incident.
Aban sir has hit me with shoes. When I was standing there, he was hitting me like a football. I had a fight with my friend, so he hit me. I have been beaten up before as well but this has never happened.
The victim's uncle Mohammad Ayub said that Aban Sir kicked him like a football. A complaint has been made to the District Education Officer. In the complaint, the victim's uncle said that 'My nephew is a class 11 student in St. Michael School. On January 9 at 8:30 am, he had an argument with another student in the school premises. When Aban sir came to know about this, he beat up the nephew.
The victim's uncle said that 'the skin of the nephew's calves came off due to the blow of the teacher's shoes. Blood started flowing. When he reached home, he told the whole incident to the family. The nephew was mentally very upset, he was also shivering due to the injury. This incident of beating has also been recorded in the CCTV camera installed in the school premises.'
The student's family has complained about this incident to the District Education Officer (DEO). Along with this, the video of the injury to the student has also been submitted to the District Education Officer.
Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the District Education Officer has immediately formed an investigation committee.
District Education Officer NK Ahirwar said- I have just seen the video of the child being beaten up. This is a case of St. Michael's School. For this, we have formed an investigation committee, as soon as the investigation is completed, action will be taken against the concerned as per the rules.
The Principal is not aware of the incident. St. Michael's School Principal Satendra Singh said that I do not have any information about this right now, I will find out, only after that I will be able to say something.
