The grand festival of Sarhul, which marks the worship of nature and is deeply rooted in the cultural heritage of Jharkhand, was celebrated with immense enthusiasm in Old Sitaramdera. The festival saw the participation of Amarpreet Singh Kale, Jharkhand BJP state spokesperson, who joined multiple programs organized by various tribal organizations.
The celebrations were held under the aegis of the Adivasi Munda Samaj Central Committee, Central Sarhul Puja Committee, Oraon Samaj, and Adivasi Ho Samaj. Thousands of people took part in the event, which showcased traditional dance, songs, music, and rituals to express gratitude towards nature and the community.
Addressing the gathering, Amarpreet Singh Kale emphasized the importance of Sarhul as a festival that strengthens the bond between humans and nature. He stated, "Sarhul is not just a festival but a way of life that reminds us of our deep-rooted cultural heritage and the need to protect our environment. It teaches us the values of unity, gratitude, and social harmony."
The festival witnessed active participation from senior leaders, intellectuals, and youth, who came together to celebrate their traditions with zeal. The organizing committee extended a warm welcome to all the guests and expressed their gratitude while wishing for unity and prosperity within the community.
