A significant commotion erupted at ESI Hospital in Indrapuri on Wednesday after the death of a patient, Meera Yadav, who had been admitted to the facility. Union workers accused the hospital management of negligence and created a ruckus on the premises.
The deceased, Meera Yadav, had been admitted by her family and underwent surgery three days ago. She passed away on Wednesday, prompting her family to inform union representatives about the incident. Following this, BHEL CITU General Secretary and labor leader Deepak Gupta, along with other union leaders, reached the hospital to address the issue.
Gupta, accompanied by union representatives, held discussions with CMO Dr. Shailendra Chaudhary, although efforts to contact Dr. Chaudhary directly by phone were unsuccessful. Speaking about the incident, Gupta alleged that the hospital, primarily catering to workers and employees with minimum wages, has been failing to provide adequate care.
