Bagsewania police have detained a minor boy involved in multiple burglaries and along with the minor youth who used to buy the burgled valuables was also arrested; in the investigation 40 CCTV cameras were investigated to track the accused.
The suspect, a repeat offender with a prior record for theft at Bagsewania Police Station, had been fulfilling his needs through these burglaries.
During the investigation, CCTV footage led to the identification of the juvenile, who was detained and confessed to selling the stolen jewellery to Shashikant Mehta of Bagmugalia. Mehta was also apprehended, and the stolen jewellery was recovered.
