Youth rejoice as 224 chowkidars appointed in East Singhbhum

In a vibrant and emotionally charged event held at Town Hall, Sidhgora, 224 newly selected Chowkidars ( watchman) received their appointment letters, bringing smiles, cheers, and celebrations to hundreds of hopeful candidates and their families.

 

The District-Level Chowkidar Appointment Letter Distribution Ceremony was graced by  Ramdas Soren, Minister of School Education, Literacy and Registration Department, who attended as the chief guest.

 

As the youth received their appointment letters, many were seen dancing with joy and expressing heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister and the district administration, echoing a shared sentiment of relief, hope, and pride.

 

In his address, Minister Ramdas Soren congratulated the appointees and emphasized the state government's unwavering efforts to realize the dreams of young people in Jharkhand.

 

“Employment, especially in the government sector, is a dream for every youth. Today, 224 young individuals from East Singhbhum are stepping into a new phase of life through this opportunity,” he said.

“This move will empower families from rural areas and strengthen grassroots governance. I urge all of you to serve with full dedication and become responsible citizens contributing to state-building.”

 

He also stressed the importance of education, women’s empowerment, and strengthening public services at the Gram Panchayat and Block levels, encouraging parents to send their children to school and youth to remain committed to the development of the state.

 

MLA Jamshedpur West  Saryu Rai praised the appointments, describing it as a “commendable government initiative” that will reinforce administrative efficiency at the lowest levels of governance and policing. MLA Baharagora  Sameer Mohanty congratulated the selected youth and urged them to serve society with “honesty and dedication.”

 

MLA Potka  Sanjib Sardar called on the Chowkidars to recognize the importance of their roles and give their 100% effort, performing their duties with integrity as critical links in the administrative system.

 

The ceremony witnessed the presence of several dignitaries and top district officials, including: Hidayatullah Khan, Chairman, State Minority Commission, Raju Giri, Vice Chairman, Gau Seva Commission,Bari Murmu, Chairperson, District Council,Kishore Kaushal, Senior Superintendent of Police, Shatabdi Majumdar, SDM, Dhalbhum and Bhagirath Prasad, Additional Deputy Commissioner along with several other senior officials from the district administration.

 

The event stood as a testament to the government’s commitment to employment generation, rural empowerment, and administrative inclusiveness, setting a hopeful tone for thousands of aspiring youth across the state.
