84,000 more women to get Maiyan funds

There is good news for women who have taken advantage of Maiya Samman Yojana. The amount of the scheme has been sent to the accounts of those beneficiaries whose account did not receive the amount. By late evening on Thursday, the money will reach the accounts of all the remaining beneficiaries. Actually, in Palamu, the amount of Maiya Samman Yojana was sent to the accounts of 284006 women in the beginning of March.

The amount was not sent to the bank accounts of 86000 women in various orders. On Thursday, the amount has been sent to the bank accounts of the remaining 84 thousand women in the Social Security Department.

Assistant Director of Palamu Social Security Department Vikram Anand said that the amount of Mainiya Samman Yojana has been sent to the accounts of 84 thousand women. Let us tell you that in the month of December, 372937 women were given the benefit of Mainiya Samman Yojana in Palamu. In the first week of March, 284006 women were given the benefit of Samman Yojana. A few days ago, an announcement was made in the cabinet of Jharkhand government to transfer the amount to the accounts of the remaining women. Women who do not have a bank account and KYC will face problems in availing the benefits of the scheme. The amount of Mainiya Samman Yojana was sent to the accounts of 71770 women in August 2024, 341895 in September, 349318 in October, 356724 in November, 372937 in December. Rs 7500 each has been sent simultaneously to the bank accounts of 84 thousand women.

Credit linkage is being accelerated to empower the rural women of Jharkhand on economic fronts. The state government claims that 2.91 lakh self-help groups have been formed in the state. 53,292 new groups have been added to it since the year 2019. In the last five years and three months, credit linkage has increased by Rs 14,204 crore, which was only Rs 545.30 crore before December 2019. The Hemant government claims that ensuring credit linkage of self-help groups with banks has strengthened the rural economy, because SHG members are getting loan facilities on simple terms.
