A disturbing video has surfaced from Amarpatan, in Maihar district, showing two young children being brutally beaten by a group of individuals. The video, which has gone viral, captures the children crying and pleading for mercy while being verbally abused by the assailants.
The incident reportedly occurred near the bypass on National Highway-30, although the exact time of the event remains unclear. The children, believed to be between 8 and 10 years old, were allegedly caught on suspicion of stealing wires, prompting the mob to take matters into their own hands.
The video shows the children being physically assaulted while the perpetrators film the entire incident, which has raised widespread concern and outrage in the local community. It is reported that the children, who are residents of the old colony in Amarpatan, have no parents and live with their elder sisters.
