Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Minister on Tuesday met Delhi-based farmers and urged Chief Minister Atishi to implement central government farmer welfare schemes in the national capital "Abuse me or call me Dawood, it does not make any difference to me, but implement the farmer welfare schemes of the Government of India for the farmers of Delhi, give them the benefit of the schemes," Chouhan said
When the farmers told their problems, he became emotional and said that farmers are getting troubled and crying in the capital Delhi. “I will put in all my efforts for the welfare of the farmers of Delhi. I will ensure that the farmers get their rights. The Delhi government is not getting the benefits of the many schemes implemented for the farmers by the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said.
Singh said that earlier also the farmers of Delhi had told him about the problems, on which he had immediately written a letter to Atishi. “I just want to say this to them with folded hands, it is not my nature to abuse anyone, but I am saying that you should reply to the letter, don't even reply, sister Atishi, but you should implement the farmer welfare schemes of the Government of India for the farmers of Delhi.”
He appealed to Atishi to not harm the farmers in political competition. “In Delhi, even a tractor is considered commercial, registration costs a lot of money, crops get ruined in dirty water here.
