Arunachal Pradesh has unveiled a new tourism policy and brand identity, aiming to establish itself as a top global destination. The initiative includes a fresh logo reflecting the state’s evolving tourism vision.
Tourism Minister Pasang Dorjee Sona highlighted the policy’s focus on sustainable tourism, cultural preservation and biodiversity.
The state plans to double domestic tourism and increase international arrivals tenfold, promoting key segments like Adventure, Ecotourism, Wellness, Film and Border Tourism.
To support growth, the government will boost skill development through IITTM and IHM partnerships, create land banks for investment and launch a dedicated investor facilitation cell.
Digital and offline campaigns will enhance visibility. Tourism Director Shri Manjunath R emphasised the branding’s role in showcasing Arunachal’s untouched beauty.
Following a 300 per cent surge in foreign tourists in 2023, the state is poised to become a world-class travel hub.
