Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath underscored the urgency for strategic development planning to take Uttar Pradesh forward in its developmental journey with a focus on enhancing the lives of the citizens.

Chairing a pivotal meeting on Monday, the chief minister delved into the Master Plan-2031 of several key regions, including Saharanpur, Mirzapur, Banda, Amroha and Firozabad, issuing crucial directives for orchestrated growth.

In a bid to foster balanced and rapid development, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath articulated a vision focused on enhancing the lives of citizens while ensuring sustainable progress. He stressed the significance of prioritising the convenience of the populace in all developmental initiatives, urging development authorities to explore innovative avenues for revenue generation.

Acknowledging the cultural heritage embedded within local crafts and traditional industries, the chief minister proposed the establishment of clusters aimed at nurturing and promoting indigenous craftsmanship.

Notably, he advocated for the placement of statues in parks rather than at intersections, emphasising the importance of aesthetic and functional urban planning.

Efficient traffic management emerged as a critical concern, particularly in urban areas, prompting collaborative efforts between stakeholders. The chief minister advocated for the designation of taxi-auto stands and street vendor zones, alongside the identification of suitable locations for multilevel parking facilities, all integral components of sustainable urban mobility.

Reflecting on specific regional imperatives, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath underscored the economic vibrancy witnessed in Saharanpur, urging comprehensive provisions within the master plan to accommodate burgeoning industrial, commercial and residential activities.

Similarly, in Mirzapur, ongoing initiatives such as the beautification of Maa Vindhyavasini Dham and the establishment of a medical college and state university necessitate meticulous integration into the overarching development framework.

Basti, experiencing a surge in developmental momentum with recent additions like a sugar mill and a medical college, demands meticulous planning to ensure harmonised growth. The chief minister highlighted the importance of incorporating these advancements into the Master Plan-2031 to uphold a balanced trajectory of progress.

Furthermore, the initiation of a master plan for Amroha presents an unprecedented opportunity to bolster traditional industries such as Dholak, drums, cotton recycling and bindi making, aligning development efforts with local cultural heritage.

Meanwhile, in Banda, the proposed industrial corridor demands alignment with the master plan, with a concerted focus on minimising disruptions to general traffic flow. The integration of the Bundelkhand Expressway with the industrial corridor underscores the strategic vision driving infrastructural development in the region.

As Uttar Pradesh charts its course towards holistic development, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s emphasis on strategic planning underscores a commitment to inclusive growth, harnessing the unique strengths and potential of each region to propel the state towards a prosperous future.
