We are all children of God. He resides in everyone and loves everyone equally. Therefore, never consider yourself helpless or look down on others, nor think yourself omnipotent and others weak."
Swami Nirmalanand said this while addressing the Sunday satsang at Yogda Satsang Ashram. He told the Yogda devotees that every person should strive to become a messenger of peace. Anyone can become a messenger of peace if they reform themselves.
Swami Nirmalanand added:
- Never search for flaws in others; instead, focus on self-improvement.
- Speak the truth, but avoid harmful or hurtful truths.
- Your words should be sweet, beneficial, and constructive, with self-control.
- Through meditation, harmonize with family, workplace, and recurring relationships to find happiness.
- Respect those you live with and value their words.
- Encourage and assist others, whether connected or seeking help.
- The secret to happiness lies in self-improvement.
- Mahatma Gandhi achieved independence through non-violence, which he lived and breathed.
- Non-violence stems from love and forgiveness.
- Forgiveness is the strength of the powerful; it brings mental peace. Not everyone can forgive; it requires immense self-control.
- Always respect others.
