Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that to further strengthen the industrial scenario of Madhya Pradesh, the fifth Regional Industry Conclave (RIC) of the state is going to be held in Rewa on October 23. Its main objective is to establish the Vindhya region as a center of investment and industrial opportunities. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that 2025 has been declared the 'Year of Industry and Employment'. Hence the RIC held in the state is being seen as an important milestone.
More than 4 thousand participants have registered for the conclave to be held at Krishna Raj Kapoor Auditorium, Rewa, including more than 50 major investors and over 3 thousand MSME entrepreneurs. The main focus of the conference will be on encouraging investment in key sectors of the state - energy, mining, agriculture, dairy, food processing, tourism and handicrafts. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav's initiative aims to establish a meaningful dialogue between investors and entrepreneurs in the state, which will open new doors for industrial development.
Roundtable and Sectoral Sessions with Presentations
In the conclave, major presentations will be given by various departments of the state government including industrial policy and investment promotion, MSME, IT, mining, energy, and tourism departments. Apart from this, a special roundtable session on new and renewable energy will also be held, in which the emerging opportunities and challenges of the industry will be discussed. Four sectoral sessions, focusing on investment opportunities in MSMEs, Startups, Mining & Minerals, Tourism and Cottage Industries will also be held.
One-to-one meetings and bhoomi pujan
More than 20 investors will have a one-to-one meeting with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, which will enable direct communication between the government and investors. Also, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will perform virtual bhoomi pujan of more than 20 industrial establishments including power sub-station in Rewa IT Park and Churhata Industrial Area. Apart from this, land allotment letters will also be distributed to more than 80 investors, which will further simplify the process of investment in the state.
ODOP (One District-One Product) and G-2-C (Government to Citizen) stalls will also be set up in the conclave.
These will include more than 16 departments and institutions including MP Industrial Development Corporation, MP State Electronic Development Corporation, Directorate of Foreign Trade, Customs Department, ECGC Limited, Federation of Indian Export and Handicrafts Development Corporation. The exhibition will provide entrepreneurs with detailed information about government schemes and policies, enabling them to make their business decisions effectively.
