Ujjain Smart City has invited tender for shops in "Prasadam" located at the basement parking of Shri Mahakal Mahalok. The initiative aims to enhance visitor convenience.
Every day 1.5 to 2 lakh devotees from India and abroad are coming to Shree Mahakal Mahalok for darshan of Shree Mahakal.
Ujjain Smart City has been taking new initiatives every day to give the devotees a pleasant experience in their religious and spiritual journey.
The country's first healthy and hygiene food street Prasadam built in Shri Mahakal Mahalok has been developed by Ujjain Smart City Limited and FSSAI. Prasadam is a built up area of 900 square meters in which 17 shops have been constructed and arrangements have been made in between for the passengers to sit and eat comfortably. All the parameters under Eat Right Food have been taken special care of. Here visitors will be able to enjoy the famous local dishes and food of Malwa and Ujjain. The special thing about Prasadam will be a plastic free zone. Special care will be taken of cleanliness in Prasadam. All the people working here will take complete care of hygiene like wearing gloves, caps and aprons etc.
Food will be provided in Prasadam only in biodegradable packaging like Dona Pattal etc. Many types of cultural programs like live music, cultural fest and different types of workshops will also be organized here for pilgrims.
Individuals, institutions, partnership firms, companies or authorized representatives are invited to participate in this e-tender process of Prasadam. The facility to submit tenders is available on the e-portal of Madhya Pradesh, https://mptenders.gov.in.
People can also apply for more than one shop. Intending tenderers will be required to submit separate applications for each shop for which they wish to apply, ensuring clarity and specificity in their proposals.
