Incessant rains for the past two days in Delhi-NCR that caused water logging and  traffic congestion in various parts on  Saturday, led to death of two private bank employees after getting trapped in their sports utility vehicle in the flooded Old Faridabad Railway underpass here.  From north to south and east to west, the national capital witnessed traffic jams or slow vehicle movement on most stretches due to water logging, breakdown of buses and potholes on roads. In the last 24 hours till 8.30 am, Delhi recorded 57 mm rainfall. The weather department has predicted a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain during the day.

In Faridabad, Punyashreya Sharma, who was the manager of HDFC Bank's branch in Gurugram's Sector 31 and Viraj Dwivedi, who was a cashier there, were returning home to Faridabad in a Mahindra XUV700 on Friday evening.
