The Nodal Training Institute of AC&ABC, located at the Medi-Caps University campus, inaugurated its 45-day training program for the first batch of trainees. The program aims to promote agricultural entrepreneurship and equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the field. Ravindra Pastor, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of 'E-Fasal,' graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Prof. (Dr) D.K. Patnaik, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of Medi-Caps University, presided over the event. The program also saw the presence of Professor S.D. Upadhyay, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture.

In his keynote address, Ravindra Pastor urged the trainees and students to seek opportunities in addressing farmers' challenges. He emphasized the need for trainees to aspire to become job providers rather than job seekers, and to innovate within the agricultural sector for sustainable growth. His insights motivated participants to think creatively and develop solutions that can make a meaningful impact on the farming community.

Vice Chancellor Professor Patnaik encouraged the trainees to identify and plan their chosen activities from the very first day to ensure a well-prepared project report by the end of the program. He also advised the trainees to maintain discipline throughout the training, which he highlighted as a crucial factor for their success.

Sharing his expertise, Dean of the Agriculture Faculty, Professor Sunil D. Upadhyaya, recounted success stories in agriculture, illustrating how entrepreneurs have achieved outstanding results despite facing significant challenges. His stories served as an inspiration, showcasing the potential of innovative practices in transforming agricultural businesses.

Pallavi Vyas, Branch Manager of State Bank of India, Harsola branch, actively engaged with the trainees, addressing various queries regarding project financing. Her insights provided valuable guidance on securing financial support for future agricultural ventures.

The program's success was a collective effort, with all faculty members of the Agriculture Faculty playing an active role in the event's seamless execution. Their contributions were instrumental in creating an environment conducive to learning and growth.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Nodal Training Coordinator, Professor Muralidhar Iyer, who expressed his gratitude to all dignitaries, trainees, and faculty members for their participation. The program was skillfully conducted by Professor Sunil Kumar Chaurey, ensuring the proceedings ran smoothly.

The launch of this training program marks a significant step toward fostering agricultural innovation and entrepreneurship, setting the stage for trainees to become future leaders in the field. The initiative aims to pave the way for sustainable agricultural development and empower participants to contribute effectively to the agribusiness landscape.
