Nine executives up to the level of E-6 of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) received the Trailblazer award from Atanu Bhowmick, Director In-Charge, at a function organized at Rourkela Club on 24th August, 2024.
S R Suryawanshi, ED (Works), Tarun Misra, ED (HR) with Additional Charge of ED (Projects), Alok Verma, ED (Mines), A K Behuria, ED (F&A), along with other senior officers and the spouses of the awardees, attended the occasion.
The awardees are Deba Chandra Naik, AGM (Coke Ovens), Rashmi Ranjan Mohanty, AGM (Hot Strip Mill-2), Krushna Chandra Mohanty, AGM (New Plate Mill), Shashi Kiran Kumar, AGM (Design), Gyaneswari Padhy, AGM (Contract Cell (Works)), Priyabrat Barik, AGM (Traffic & Raw Materials), Robin Kumar, DGM (Human Resource), Ashish Kumar, AGM (Internal Audit), and Dr. Shivalkar, Assistant CMO (Medical).
This motivational award scheme recognizes the contributions of frontline executives in improving production, productivity, techno-economic parameters, safety, quality, maintenance practices, cost reduction/digitalization, and systems improvement.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhowmick inspired the trailblazers to prioritize smart work, strive for self-improvement, and lead by example. He also emphasized the significant impact of family support on personal success.
