The Additional Commissioner of the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC), Tina Yadav, on Wednesday conducted a surprise inspection of the Rain Basera at Yadgar-e-Shahjahan Park.
She reviewed the facilities being provided to the overnight residents and gathered information about their needs.Yadav, who is in charge of the National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM) and responsible for the night shelters, expressed satisfaction and issued directives for comprehensive measures to be initiated in view of the looming cold wave.
She spoke to people staying at the facility and quizzed them about their experiences at the shelter. She also went through the register of people staying at the shelter.The residents appreciated the arrangements made by the Corporation.
