After Kantatoli, Ratu Road, now the Government has started the process of constructing Harmu flyover. The tender process will be completed within the next two to three months. More than Rs 300 crore rupees will be spent on the construction of Harmu flyover, the length of this flyover will be 3.5 km.
Currently, the search for a consultant for the construction of the flyover from Harmu to Kadru Radisson Blu is going on. The tender has been issued for this. Currently, a company has filled the tender for this project at 34 percent less rate. The road department is reviewing it. The construction work of Harmu flyover will be done by preparing an alternative route.
The reason for this is that there is more VVIP movement on this road. VVIPs go to Vidhan Sabha, Project Bhawan, High Court. The total length of the flyover will be 3.50 km, the flyover will be built from Judge Colony on Kanke Road to Harmu Sahajanand Chowk, the flyover will climb near Suchna Bhawan intersection which will descend at Sahajanand Chowk via Ratu Road Chowk, Shani Mandir, Gadikhan Chowk, Kishoreganj Chowk, Bharat Mata Chowk, a ramp will be built near Sahajanand Chowk, so that vehicles coming from Kadru Marg can climb the flyover and another ramp will be built near Gaushala Chowk, so that vehicles coming from Ratu Road and Pahadi Mandir can climb the flyover.
Just a day ago, Chief Minister Hemant Soren conducted a surprise inspection of the under-construction flyover from Mecon Chowk (near Van Bhawan) to Sirmatoli Chowk. He was accompanied by his wife and MLA Kalpana Soren, Additional Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar, Secretary of Building Construction Department Sunil Kumar and other officials. During the inspection, the Chief Minister took stock of the progress of the construction work of the flyover. He discussed various aspects of the flyover with the officials.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to pay special attention to the quality and time limit of this flyover construction work. The Chief Minister, while talking to the media after the inspection, said that this flyover will have a distinct identity in the country and the state. "This flyover will be a unique flyover in itself. Earlier also, the state government has dedicated the flyover project from Kantatoli to Sirmatoli Chowk to the residents of the capital before the stipulated time limit. This flyover being constructed from Mecon Chowk (near Van Bhawan) to Sirmatoli Chowk is also completed before the stipulated time limit," he said.
To dedicate it to the residents of Ranchi, the State Government officials, engineers and workers engaged in the construction of the flyover are engaged in their respective work with full hard work and dedication.
The Chief Minister said that our effort is to launch this flyover project as soon as possible, so that people can get relief from traffic problems. He said that this flyover will not only smoothen the traffic, but will also contribute to the development of the city. The construction of the flyover will also beautify the city and improve traffic.
Soren said that this flyover is passing over the railway crossing, so points related to the movement of trains are also being taken care of. Two months ago, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Kantatoli flyover. Now the construction of the Sirmatoli flyover is in its final stage. After its opening, the problem of traffic jams on Club Road, Sujata Chowk, Old Overbridge in the main road will be solved. With the opening of the flyover, a large population of the city will not have the problem of traffic jams while going to Doranda.
