Arun Kumar Nayak, Nuclear Scientist and Head of the Nuclear Control and Planning Wing, Union Ministry of Atomic Energy, emphasized the critical role of nuclear energy in India's future development during his address at the closing ceremony of the 11th Bhopal Science Fair. Dr. Nayak stated that nuclear energy is essential for transforming India into a developed nation, as energy access will be a key determinant of sustainability for nations in the future.

He highlighted that for India to emerge as a leading global economy by 2047, advancements in science and technology are indispensable. With the increasing population, the demand for resources and energy will rise significantly. While renewable energy sources are important, they have limitations, making nuclear energy the most viable solution to meet future energy demands.

Dr. Nayak also sought to dispel common misconceptions about nuclear energy, asserting its safety and effectiveness. He encouraged the adoption of domestically manufactured products to strengthen the nation's economy and elaborated on research in radiation, clean energy, and India's scientific achievements. He inspired students to engage in research and innovation, particularly in the nuclear energy sector.

Dr. Shiv Kumar Sharma, All-India Organizational Secretary of Vijnana Bharati, also addressed the concluding session. He urged students to adopt a clear vision and develop scientific thinking. Dr. Sharma emphasized the importance of having mentors, likening their role to Krishna's guidance to Arjuna in the Mahabharata. He introduced the acronym "PARTH" to outline a formula for success: Positive Attitude, Aim, River-like Continuity, Time Management, and Hard Work. He motivated students to remain focused, maintain positivity, and work diligently to overcome societal challenges.

The event witnessed the presence of several distinguished guests, including Dr. Anil Kothari, Director General of the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science & Technology; Dr. Dhirendra Swami, Joint Secretary of Vijnana Bharati; Dr. Amogh Gupta, President of Vijnana Bharati, Central India; and Mr. Sanjay Kaurav, Secretary of Vijnana Bharati, Central India. Dr. Dhirendra Swami presented a comprehensive report summarizing the four-day event. The program was hosted by Dr. Jitendra Agarwal and Dr. Pradeep Singor.

A highlight of the fair was an exhibition featuring more than 150 scientific models, showcasing the creativity, innovative thinking, and technical expertise of students. The top projects were recognized with cash prizes, certificates, and copies of the book Bharat Ki Ujjwal Parampara.

In the college category, the first prize was awarded to Adarsh Kumar from the Corporate Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal, for his VLAN Shield project to prevent Wi-Fi hacking. Sathya Sai College, Sehore, secured second prize for their E-car design, while the Corporate Institute of Science and Technology received third prize.
