Renowned authors Nilotpal Mrinal and Divya Prakash Dubey addressed students and faculty members during a special workshop on 'Writing and its Diverse Possibilities' at the Scope Global Skills University (SGSU) in the state capital.
The event comprised in-depth discussions on exploring new dimensions in the field of writing and embracing writing as a career.Sharing his experiences, Mrinal said that one can start writing by penning just one page each day.
He also mentioned that studying different subjects strengthens writing and opens boundless vistas that exist in the field. Dubey, while sharing his experiences working with film director Mani Ratnam, noted that people trust individuals with talent. He further explained that nowadays, young people earn lakhs through audio writing, as well as writing stories and film dialogues.
Dr Siddharth Chaturvedi, Vice-Chancellor of Scope Global Skills University, said that the university aims to make students aware of the importance of skills not only in technical fields but also in the humanities and liberal arts.
The university’s film and media wing continuously conducts seminars and workshops in this direction, he noted.Dr. Sitesh Sinha, the university's registrar, informed the audience of the consistent efforts for the development of skill enhancement initiatives.On this occasion, the newsletter 'Vishwarang Mauritius' was also launched.
The event was conducted by Vikas Awasthi, while the stage was managed by Vishakha Raj. Students and participants interested in writing actively engaged in the discussion, gaining a deeper understanding of the possibilities in the sphere.
