In view of the coming Lok Sabha elections, a special revision of electoral rolls will begin in Chhattisgarh on Saturday, the Election Commission said on Friday.
The initial voter lists will be published on January 6. With this, the work of receiving claims and objections will commence and conclude on January 22.
Special camps will be held at all polling stations on January 13 and 14 to receive amendments.
Citizens who are 18 years of age on January 1, 2024 can get their names added to the voter list. Citizens who will have completed 18 years of age on April 1, July 1 and October 1 can also apply in advance.
Online applications can be submitted through the “Voter Helpline App” or at voters.eci.gov.in.
