Rallying for Bharatiya Janata Party’s ‘Abki Baar 400 Paar’, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah said that the victory of the BJP in western Uttar Pradesh would ensure that the party wins all the 80 Lok Sabha seats in UP and over 370 seats across India.
Shah addressed a public meeting in Moradabad where he emphasised the BJP’s developmental efforts.
He highlighted the contrast with the Congress’ alleged failures in driving development and its entanglement in corruption during its tenure.
Shah urged the electorate to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a third term, rallying for the BJP’s ‘Abki Baar 400 Paar’ campaign.
Shah asserted the certainty of BJP’s victory in Moradabad, aiming for a sweep of all 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh. He stressed the pivotal role of western UP in securing BJP’s success across the state and urged all sections of society to support the party, highlighting the importance of voting for BJP candidates.
The Union home minister touted Prime Minister Modi’s leadership in elevating India’s economy and achieving significant milestones such as the Ram mandir’s inauguration in Ayodhya and the revitalisation of various religious sites.
Shah commended Modi’s efforts in preserving India’s cultural values, contrasting BJP’s stance with the Congress’ neglect of Kashmir during its rule. He praised the decision to abrogate Article 370 and lauded the prime minister’s actions against terrorism and Naxalism.
Addressing concerns of infiltration and terrorism, Shah highlighted the shift in the government’s response under Modi’s leadership, citing surgical strikes and airstrikes as examples.
He outlined various developmental initiatives under Modi’s governance, including provisions for food grains, sanitation, housing and healthcare, particularly in Uttar Pradesh.
Shah credited Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for improvements in law and order and significant infrastructure projects undertaken in the state.
Shah warned against the return of the Congress and the Samajwadi Party, pointing to their divisive agendas, and urged the public to vote for Bharatiya Janata Party candidates to ensure inclusive development under Modi’s leadership.
Highlighting Modi’s initiatives benefiting sugarcane farmers, Shah appealed for continued support to secure a third term for the prime minister.
At the event, several BJP leaders, including party state president Bhupendra Chaudhary, Moradabad candidate Thakur Sarvesh Singh, Sambhal candidate Parmeshwar Lal Saini, Ramesh Bidhuri, and others were present.
