It was a setback to the all out effort of the Palamu judgeship under the aegis of the district legal services authority to get ready Ayushman Cards for the inmates of the central jail here in Daltonganj today.
The server went down. The principal district and sessions judge Niraj Kumar Srivastav who is the chairman of the district legal services authority here and the chief judicial magistrate Ananda Singh waited for around 2 hours in the hope of server getting functioning but in vain.
The jail officials had well prepared a list of 31 inmates of the central jail here desirous of having Ayushman Card with details relevant and required for making Ayushman Card but for the server down nothing tangible could come out.
The Ayushman Mitra tried hard but in vain. The principal district and sessions judge Niraj Kumar Srivastav was too concerned about it.
He reached the table where was Ayushman Mitra Ranjan Singh using all his wits to make out one Ayushman Card for the inmate but in vain.
A highly concerned principal district and sessions judge asked to try it tomorrow and other days too depending on the availability and functioning of the server. He made it clear the Ayushman Card work in the central jail is to take off by all means.
The chief judicial magistrate Ananda Singh got in touch with the civil surgeon in regard to this glitch in the server here today communicating to him that the principal district and sessions judge is too keen to have Ayushman Card for the inmates of the central jail said sources.
The principal district and sessions judge made it clear that Ayushman Mitra would be doing this job here in the central jail without any dislocation to this job in the MMCH Daltonganj where visitors come in great numbers for the Ayushman Card.
Central jail superintendent Bhagirath Karjee and jailer Pramode Kumar were bitterly disappointed today following this issue with the server. The duo said the team had spent hours of days for a smooth take off of the preparation for Ayushman Card but the server let down everyone.
Principal district and sessions judge Niraj Kumar Srivastav who always sees hope in the midst of despair said "It didn't work out today. But other way outs are coming up. We will keep striving for it."
The Ayushman Mitra convinced the principal district and sessions judge that some ways could be explored for the inmates to have Ayushman Card without the biometric featuring but essentially with Aadhar Card and Ration Card matching of the name of the inmate.
A camp for Aadhar Card is to be held in the central jail here where issues plaguing Aadhar Card like wrong name, mis spelling, wrong date of birth etc are quite common.
