Santosh Chaubey to be honored with ‘Bharat Gaurav Samman' in France

Santosh Choubey, who has been active in the fields of literature, art, culture, education, technology and skill development for five decades, will be decorated with the prestigious international 'Bharat Gaurav Samman – 2024'.

This honor will be given to Santosh Chaubey on June 5, 2024 in a grand felicitation ceremony organized at Luxembourg Palace, France Senate, Paris. Santosh Choubey, selected for Indian Engineering Service and Indian Administrative Service, is currently studying at Rabindranath Tagore University and Dr. C.V. Raman is the Chancellor of the University and the Chairman of ISECT Network, State Resource Centre, Vanamali Srijan Peeth and Tagore International Literature and Art Centre.It is noteworthy that Santosh Choubey is continuously active in promoting Hindi literature and language at national and international level through various literary and cultural activities along with writing.

Along with this, you are also continuously making important contribution in the field of science, technology and skill development. In the last forty years, he has established a network of more than forty thousand training and service centers across India, which, apart from providing employment to thousands of people, is participating in important schemes like Digital India, Skill India, Startup India.

Along with technology, he is also a poet, storyteller, novelist, editor and translator who has global recognition for his innovative creative projects and innovations. His six story collections - 'Light colored shirt', 'Restaurant Mein Dochhar', 'Nine Bindu Ka Khel', 'Beech Prem Mein Gandhi', 'But remembering Shakespeare' and 'Representative Stories', four novels - 'Raag Kedar', 'Kya Pata Comrade Mohan', 'Jaltarang', and 'Black Hole in the World of Dreams', four poetry collections - 'Where else will dreams come true', 'Kona Dharti Ka', 'In this non-poet time' And 'Ghar-Bahar' has been published and discussed. Terry Eagleton, Frederic Jameson, Walter Benjamin, Odysseus Ielitis and EF.

His translations of Schumacher, published under the titles 'Author and Commitment', 'Moscow Diary' and 'A Book for the Confused Man', have been widely read and appreciated. He has also edited 'Vanmali Samagra' in two volumes focusing on story writer Vanmali ji and three books of ideological prose focusing on stories and novels - 'Internal crisis of narrative', 'New tradition of novel' and 'Kahani: Swapn aur Yatharth'.

Along with this, his critical books 'Kala Ki Sangat' and 'Apne Time Mein' have also been published. Recently the book of essays 'Tradition and Modernity' has come out and has been highly appreciated.Presently he is the editor-in-chief of 'Rang Samvad', the award-winning and prestigious interdisciplinary magazine of drama and arts. The story dictionary 'Katha Madhya Pradesh' edited by him, centered on more than two hundred storytellers of Madhya Pradesh, has gained nationwide fame.
