Sanskrit classes at 53 EFA schools

Saturday, 30 November 2024 | PNS | Bhopal

State Open School Education Board conducts Arun, Uday, and Prabhat classes in 53 selected Education for All (EFA) schools to promote Sanskrit education in the state. Sanskrit medium classes have started in these schools from the academic session this year.

The Sanskrit language has played an important role in the country’s cultural heritage since ancient times. Keeping this in mind, special provisions have been made in the National Education Policy 2020 for the expansion of the Sanskrit language.

It has been mentioned in the National Education Policy that the Sanskrit language should not be limited only to Sanskrit schools and universities but it should be brought into the mainstream.
