Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) has launched SAIL’s first integrated Human Resource Management System (HRMS), "Prakhar." This Oracle Fusion-based cloud platform aims to automate and streamline HR processes, enhancing efficiency, transparency, and employee experience.
The system was inaugurated by SAIL Chairman Amarendu Prakash in an online event, attended by Director (Personnel) KK Singh, BSL Director In-Charge Birendra Kumar Tiwari, senior officials, and representatives from Oracle and Deloitte.
Prakash commended the timely completion of the project, highlighting its role in driving digital transformation in HR. The system will enable real-time data updates, process automation, and single-window solutions for HR services, marking a major step towards modernization.
Implemented in a record 10 months, this initiative will phase out legacy HR systems and expand to BSL's subsidiaries, setting a benchmark in digital HR management for public sector enterprises.
