A meeting of the District Level Road Safety Committee was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna. In the meeting, compliance with the instructions given in the last meeting was reviewed and instructions were given to the departments. The transport and police departments were directed to conduct regular helmet checking and regular checking campaigns for drunk and driving and over speeding. Instructions were given to regularly make teenagers aware of traffic rules in schools, to inform school management about traffic rules, to charge penalty fees from those who violate traffic rules, etc. In the meeting, broken culverts were seen on Hisri-Bonga road. Attention was drawn by member Sanjay Burman etc. to the problems being caused due to the Municipal Council area, damaged roads in the Municipal Council area, citation given to Good Samaritan, bad roads etc., on which necessary instructions were given by the Deputy Commissioner to the officials of the concerned department. Forest Divisional Officer Abhishek Kumar, Deputy Development Commissioner Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat, Sub-Divisional Police Officer, District Transport Officer Sanjay Kumar, District Public Relations Officer Shivanandan Baraik, Product Superintendent member Sanjay Barman and officials of other departments were present in the meeting.
