Residential group housing, institutional plots scheme launched in Greater Noida

Tuesday, 06 August 2024 | PNS | Lucknow/Greater Noida

In a bid to provide world class facilities to the citizens of Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi Adityanath government has launched a new residential group housing and institutional plots scheme in Greater Noida.

The process for allotment of 19 residential group housing and nine institutional plots has already begun. Under this scheme, builders will develop residential townships in Sectors 17, 18 and 22D. Simultaneously, the institutional plots will pave the way for the establishment of hospitals, nursing homes and nursery schools in Sectors 17, 18, 20, 22E and 22D.

Under the new scheme introduced by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), all allotment processes are set to be completed by September this year.

Under the new scheme, plots will be allotted for 19 residential group housing projects at a rate of Rs 32,375 per square metres, offering builders the chance to develop townships with world class amenities. The sizes of the plots will range from 11,513.72 square metres to 48,564 square metres.

These strategically located plots are in close proximity to key sites, including the F-1 and MotoGP tracks, Yamuna Expressway, Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Jewar airport, International Film City, Medical Device Park, and dedicated MSME, Apparel, Handicrafts and Toy parks.

The registration fees for these plots range from Rs 3.91 crore to Rs 17.29 crore. The allotment will be conducted via e-auction, with the Bank of Baroda serving as the banking partner.

In addition to the residential group housing plot scheme, YEIDA’s institutional plot scheme will facilitate the construction of a child welfare and maternity centre on a 5,000-square metre plot in Sector 20, and hospitals on plots of 10,115 square metres and 10,900 square metres in Sectors 22E and 20, respectively.

Furthermore, the scheme will support the development of nursing homes on plots ranging from 1,000 square metres to 2,750 square metres in Sectors 17, 18 and 22D.

The reserve prices for plots designated for the child welfare and maternity centre, hospitals and nursing homes are set between Rs 2.27 crore and Rs 24.81 crore, at a rate of Rs 22,770 per square metres.

Under the new scheme, plots ranging from 1,000 square metres to 1,500 square metres in Sectors 17 and 22D will be allotted at a rate of Rs 15,020 per square metres. The reserve prices for these plots are set between Rs 1.50 crore and Rs 2.25 crore.

In addition to these new plots, YEIDA will complete the draw for the allotment of 361 residential plots and the e-auction process for three plots designated for banquet and marriage hall facilities, all within September.
