In line with the recent promotion orders for Executive Director positions at SAIL, Rajashree Banerjee has taken charge as the Executive Director (Human Resources) at Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL). The formal handing-over ceremony took place in the presence of BSL’s Director In-Charge, Birendra Kumar Tiwari.
Rajashree Banerjee began her career at the Durgapur Steel Plant as a Management Trainee (Administration). Over the years, she held several significant roles in departments like Marketing, the Managing Director’s Secretariat, and Personnel. In 2019, she was transferred to Rourkela Steel Plant, where she made commendable contributions in workforce development, training practices, and capacity building within the Human Resources Department. Her innovative leadership earned her the position of Chief General Manager (HR – Learning and Development) at Rourkela Steel Plant.
Now, as the first woman to hold the post of Executive Director (Human Resources) at BSL, her extensive experience and strategic vision are expected to significantly benefit the organization.
