Two-day state level quarterly review meeting of M.P. Transco (Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company) chaired by Managing Director MP Transco Er Sunil Tiwari organized at Headquarters Jabalpur.
Managing Director Engineer Sunil Tiwari directed that the field officers should make full preparations to deal with the situation of excessive rainfall in the state in mansoon time.
He said that necessary spare parts should be kept available being used in transmission lines and sub-stations to deal with emergency situations and they should also make full preparations as to what arrangements should be made to deliver these to any corner of Madhya Pradesh in adverse circumstances.
He also reviewed the progress of pre-monsoon maintenance work of transmission lines, tripping on them and maintenance work of substations too.
Managing Director Er Sunil Tiwari instructed to maintain tight arrangements during monsoon so that the stability of the transmission system is maintained. He reviewed the tripping on transmission lines and directed to take necessary steps to keep it to a minimum. Reviewing the capacity and loading of various transmission lines and substations in the area, he directed that no line or substation should be loaded more than the prescribed limit.
Managing Director Engineer Sunil Tiwari directed that the field officers should complete the maintenance work with vigilance and safety keeping in mind the zero accident target. He said that there is nothing more important than human life, hence safety norms should be strictly followed during work. In this review meeting All the department heads at the headquarters of M.P.Transco and officers up to the level of superintending engineer of the state were present.
