Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Jharkhand K Ravi Kumar on Saturday said that IG (operations) is investigating into the threat call allegedly made by fugitive Wasseypur gangster Prince Khan to Jamshedpur (East ) MLA Saryu Rai and Dhanbad Marwari Sammelan president Krishna Agrawal.
Replying to a question of media persons here he said soon we would have report on the issue.
The CEO was in Dhanbad to review the preparations for ensuing general elections of 4 districts including Dhanbad, Bokaro, Giridih and Deoghar on Saturday .
He said the police administration have taken the matter seriously and the state police administration is trying to match the viral audio with that of the fugitive gangster.
Its worth mentioning here here Dhanbad police have already lodged with Barwaadda police station a case under section 387 (extortion), 506 (criminal intimidation), 109(abatement) and 120(b) (criminal conspiracy) against Prince Khan and BJP nominee for Dhanbad parliamentary seat Dulu Mahto on compliant of Krishna Agrawal on March 31.
