Police have reached the house of the woman broker in the honeytrap case of retired senior officer of BHEL, statements of the daughters of the accused were recorded, the car used in the kidnapping was also seized.

The SIT investigating the case of a retired DGM of BHEL being trapped in a honeytrap by a scrap contractor in Bhopal has found important evidence regarding the accused women. Police has reached the house of a female accused named Jaya.

During the raid at the house of the woman in MP Nagar, the police did not find here but the statements of her daughters have been recorded. The daughters told the police that they do not know what their mother used to do. The mother used to run a beauty parlor earlier. Meanwhile, the red car in which the DGM was kidnapped and taken to Jabalpur has also been seized.

The BHEL DGM, who was the victim of honeytrap, used to live in Saket Nagar earlier. It was here that he met the woman. The accused used to talk to the complainant for several hours a day. Both of them have toured many parts of the country together. The accused himself gave this information during police interrogation. This has also been proved correct in police verification.

The collusion of a total of four women has been exposed in the case, including Mamta Dwivedi, Pooja Rajput, Jaya and an Uzbek woman. The Uzbek woman is a call girl, while the other three women work as brokers. All three have been active in Bhopal. They used to supply girls to different hotels as per remand.

The women brokers have created a proper system. Under this, after booking the girl, the amount was transferred in advance online . After this, a young man brings and takes the call girl to the decided place. The person who connects her with the customer was also given commission. Employees of many hotels were also in contact with these women.

The broker women used to charge Rs 5000 to Rs 25000 rupees for sending call girls. This racket includes Asian and foreign girls. Police have recorded the statements of more than 20 people so far. These include the manager of a hotel located on Hoshangabad Road, staff, family members of the broker women, relatives of the absconding broker women including two close associates of Shashank.

The SIT has recorded the statements of the DGM. He told the police that Shashank had spent an hour with the foreign girl in the bathroom of the hotel room. He was present in the same room at that time. This same girl was left alone with me. However, I came out of the room after 15 minutes. I was shown a video of me sitting in the room with this girl.

The victim officer lives in Govindpura area. Accused Shashank Verma, a resident of Saket Nagar, takes contracts for scrap in BHEL and PWD. Both of them used to meet in this connection. During a party, the contractor arranged the officer's meeting with two women. He also exchanged phone numbers with one of the women. He assured that the woman was trustworthy. If the officer develops a relationship with the woman, she would keep it confidential. After taking the officer into confidence, Shashank arranged a room in a hotel on  August 4. Here, he sent the woman to the officer. He recorded the video with the hidden camera installed in the room. A few days later, on  August 14  Shashank introduced another woman to the officer by as a Russian.

This time also, he arranged a room in a hotel. Like before, he set up a setup of hidden cameras in the room. Here, he once again made an obscene video of the woman and the complainant.

On  August 14 itself, Shashank showed the officer a video and photos and demanded Rs 25 lakh. On refusing to accept the demand, he threatened to upload the videos on social media. After this, he talked about paying the money in installments. Took Rs 1 lakh in cash as the first installment. Then took Rs 50000 more.

On August 30, Shashank demanded 5 lakh rupees from the officer. Took him to Jabalpur by car. Here, transferred one lakh rupees online. Then left him on the condition of paying the remaining Rs 22.50 lakh in 10 days. After this, the officer came to Bhopal and complained to the police. The BHEL officer told the police that the accused Shashank had claimed to have 27 videos. Deepak had come to drop the woman whom he had sent to a hotel on Hoshangabad Road by telling her that she was Russian. The girl had also returned with him. This incident happened on August 14.

On August 15, Shashank demanded money, but I refused. After this, a young man called me on my mobile number, who introduced himself as a Crime Branch officer. Pressure was put on him that if he wanted to avoid the rape case, he should give the money to Shashank. The caller also alleged that he had beaten the call girl, which caused her serious injuries. But he did not do that. A total of five accused are absconding in the case.
