Police launch search to trace 3-yr-old boy

A three-year-old boy went missing under mysterious circumstances at Raipur village under Soro police station in Baleswar district on Tuesday.

 

As per reports, Subham, son of Mohan Sahu of the village, disappeared while playing near his house. Though his parents and villagers launched frantic searche to trace him, he could not be located.

 

On being informed, police and Fire Service personnel launched a search operation. Till last reports came in, the child was yet to be traced.

 

The cops started a search operation with sniffer dogs while in apprehension of drowning the Fire Brigade conducted a search operation in the pond in the village. His family members, fearing he might have been kidnapped, lodged a complaint with the police.

 

“The search operation is ongoing. The sniffer dog has led us to a pond and a railway station. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) was informed and sought their assistance in locating the child in case he boarded a train with someone, said Sadar SDPO Sashank Sekhar Beura.
