Police Commissioner refutes allegations by Digvijay Singh

Bhopal police commissioner has denied allegations raised by  former CM Digvijay over a tweet after theft at his MLA son Jaivardhan Singh.

Former CM Digvijay's MLA son Jaivardhan Singh's bungalow at Char Imli was burgled on August 14. After the complaint, the police reached the spot and investigated. Based on CCTV footage and the mobile location of the suspects, the police have arrested two accused.

One accused is said to be absconding. The police have seized the stolen cash Rs 15000. The accused have admitted to committing a dozen other thefts.

However, only the goods of two thefts could be recovered from the possession of the accused, after the theft incident in his son's government residence, the former CM had tweeted against the Police Commissioner Bhopal.

In this, it was written that in-charges were posted on the basis of the bids of the police stations on the CP. Now, as soon as the theft was revealed, Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra replied to Digvijay's tweet and called his allegations baseless and malicious. Also, he has been informed about the disclosure of the case.

Habibganj police station in-charge Ajay Kumar Soni said that the team reached as soon as the information about the theft was received. The Forensic Science Lab also reached. The team also took fingerprints from the spot. We had some CCTV footage. Three suspicious people were seen in it. They were identified and the accused were taken into custody on the basis of mobile location.

This theft took place in the office built in the government residence of former minister Jaivardhan Singh.

The TI had confirmed that only Rs 15000 was stolen. Apart from this, no other goods were stolen. The arrested accused will be interrogated on remand on the orders of the court. One accused in the case is absconding. He is being searched.

After the theft incident at the bungalow of MLA son Jaivardhan Singh, Digvijay Singh has targeted the government.

Congress MLA from Raghogarh, Jaiwardhan Singh lives in D-21 bungalow located at Char Imli. His government bungalow is just 100 meters away from the CBI office. Even in such a situation, the thieves carried out the crime.

After this theft incident, questions are being raised on police patrolling, because the area where the theft took place, many big officials including ministers live here. Char Imli area is considered to be one of the most VVIP areas.

Ankit Gujre (23) resident of Balaji Nagar Phase 2 Neelbad, Deepak Mandal (30) resident of H.No. 634 Vishwakarma Nagar Habibganj.

The absconding accused was identified as Vijay Dindoria (19) resident of H.No. 191 Vastu Vihar Colony Ratibad. Against the three accused, crimes including theft, burglary and assault have been registered in the past.
