PM Shri Air Service set to begin in Mandla: Chief Minister

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav during his visit to Mandla announced a series of significant developments. He pledged Rs. 6 crore for the enhancement of the Gwara airstrip and revealed that the PM SHRI air service would soon commence from Mandla. In addition, he unveiled plans to introduce postgraduate courses at Bamhani College and elevate Bamhani from Sub Tehsil to Tehsil status. Dr. Yadav also announced that, in addition to the existing wheat bonus, a similar bonus would be introduced for paddy purchases and milk producers. These announcements were made during the Raksha Bandhan cum Shravan Utsav programme held in Bamhani, Mandla district.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed his deep appreciation for the affection and warmth shown by the sisters of Bamhani. He highlighted that funds have been credited to the sister' accounts as of August 10, emphasizing that this initiative goes beyond mere financial aid-it enhances the well-being of the sisters.

The money received from the scheme allows them to purchase various items beyond just rakhis, demonstrating their ability to make meaningful use of resources, which is a significant step toward women's empowerment. Yadav also remarked that while he previously celebrated Rakhi with the sisters of only one assembly, now he considers the entire state his extended family, reflecting the spirit of the Shravan festival and its series of celebrations.

Hoisting the Tricolor at Home: A Tribute to Freedom Fighters

Chief Minister Yadav said that the state is celebrating the 500th birthday of Rani Durgavati, highlighting Mandla's rich history of valiant freedom fighters. He recalled how Rani Durgavati and Avanti Bai led fierce battles against the Mughals, Pathans, and Sultans to protect their land. Dr. Yadav paid tribute to heroes such as Shankar Shah and Raghunath Shah, emphasizing their significant contributions. He also urged citizens to participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign by hoisting the tricolor at their homes. This gesture, he said, will honor the legacy of numerous freedom fighters, including Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Mangal Pandey, Shankar Shah, Raghunath Shah, and Rani Durgavati.

Sisters in Mandla collect 11 thousand Rakhis for Chief Minister

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was presented with 11,000 rakhis by the sisters from Mandla district. These rakhis were arranged on a silk thread stretched from the stage to the end of the venue. Additionally, the sisters wrote 1.11 lakh letters of gratitude, which were collected and handed over to Dr. Yadav by the NRLM sisters.

Aarohi, Sunita and Gaura Bai were benefited

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav benefited Aarohi Jogi from Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Lakhpati Didi Sunita Chauhan of NRLM and Gora Bai from Mudra Yojana. The Chief Minister also presented a letter of compassionate appointment to Tanushree Pathak.

Sampatiya Uikey, Minister for Public Health Engineering, said that this Raksha Bandhan celebration at the heart of Mandla district is a matter of pride. There was a demand to start a PG course in Bamhani College and start air service, which was announced to be completed by Chief Minister Yadav during the programme itself. MP Faggan Singh Kulaste, also addressed. Public representatives, officials and a large number of sisters and brothers were present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Yadav joins Tiranga Yatra

Yadav On Sunday, launched the Tiranga Bike Rally as part of the "Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan" at the Airstrip Gwara in Mandla district. He was joined by Minister Sampatiya Uikey and MP Faggan Singh Kulaste in the Tiranga Yatra. The Chief Minister warmly received the citizens' greetings as they welcomed the rally with flower showers. The procession was celebrated with bands, folk songs, and traditional dances along the route.
