Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jamshedpur on September 15, where he will inaugurate projects worth Rs 21 thousand crore from Tatanagar station. This includes a new railway line, Vande Bharat Express train and other projects.
During this, the Prime Minister will flag off 5 Vande Express trains of the country including Tata-Patna and Tata-Baleshwar. Apart from the Chakulia-Badamara new railway line recently passed by the cabinet, the Prime Minister will also flag off the pending projects of the third line.
A team of the Prime Minister's Office and the Railway Ministry visited the Tatanagar station area. Keeping in mind the security of the Prime Minister, the team conducted a survey with a drone and took pictures of the area regarding the movement of the PM. During this, the RPF and Railway Police team were also present.
In preparation for the program, arrangements are being made for a stage and seating and parking for about 500 people in the front part of the Tatanagar station. To take stock of the preparations, Railway GM Anil Mishra will visit Tatanagar station on Wednesday and will give instructions to finalize the preparations.
The final event of the day will be a roadshow, for which preparations are already underway. The police and railway departments are coordinating to ensure that the event proceeds smoothly, with special attention being paid to security arrangements along the route.
This visit will mark the Prime Minister’s second trip to East Singhbhum district, the first being on May 19 last during the Lok Sabha elections, where he campaigned in support of BJP candidate Bidyut Baran Mahto. In anticipation of his arrival, the BJP has initiated extensive preparations, ensuring that all necessary arrangements are in place.
Residents of the area are eagerly awaiting Prime Minister Modi’s visit, which is expected to be closely monitored by officials. The excitement and anticipation surrounding his arrival are palpable, with local communities preparing to welcome him enthusiastically.
The PM visit is seen as a direction in year end Assembly elections. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has drawn a two-pronged strategy of sharpening its outreach in the tribal community by raising issues of local relevance and retaining support of the urban electorate by highlighting the deficiencies of the state government in Jharkhand, where elections for the 81-member assembly are due later this year.
