PHQ organises awareness on crimes against women

The "16 Days Activism-Elimination of Gender Based Violence" campaign being run by the Madhya Pradesh Government concluded on December 10, 2024, on the occasion of International Human Rights Day.

An awareness campaign was organized by the Women Security Branch, which was concluded by Director General of Police Kailash Makwana at the Boat Club in Bhopal.

Senior officials were present in the closing ceremony, including Special Director General of Police (Women Safety)  Pragya Richa Shrivastava, SDG (Technical Services) Yogesh Mudgal, ADG (CID) Pawan Shrivastava, ADG (Planning) Vivek Sharma, Commissioner (Women and Child Development) Sofia Qureshi. Apart from this, more than 1500 participants including representatives of social organizations like Uday, Jan Sahas, Aasa, Sangini, and Awaaz, officers from other departments of the state, school and college students participated in the program.

During the program, Vivek Khare of Graham Finance Society directed all women police stations to provide RO to promote women safety and provided 1000 helmets. The aim of this event was not only to ensure the safety of women but also to spread the message of safe women-empowered society in the society.
