--Says BJD, BJP looting State with their undeclared jugalbandi : Senior Congress leader and Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) in-charge Dr Ajoy Kumar on Saturday slammed both the ruling BJD in the State and BJP in the Centre for looting Odisha by keeping a good chemistry of relations.
Dr Kumar was here on Saturday on his maiden visit after his appointment as Odisha Pravari. He received a rousing welcome from the party leaders and workers here.
Speaking to mediapersons at the Congress Bhawan, Dr Kumar said Congress will work with a slogan, ‘Odisha for Odias.’
Alleging that people from outside the State have captured important jobs, mining operations and politics, the senior Congress leader claimed that Odisha is virtually being run by political outsiders who must be ousted in order to uphold Odia pride and save the State. People of Odisha want the affairs of the State to be run by those from the State, he said.
“If one sees the voting pattern in Rajya Sabha by the BJD and no ED raid on any Minister’s properties in Odisha by the BJP-led Central Government, it is clear that both BJD and BJP are on the same page,” he said, adding that the undeclared jugalbandi is harmful for Odisha.
