NTPC to instal 200 solar lights in Hingula temple

The NTPC Talcher Kaniha conducted the Bhumi Pujan Ceremony for installation of 200 solar street lights at Maa Hingula Temple at Gopal Prasad, Talcher, as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development initiatives.

 

The aim is to enhance safety and illumination in the temple premises, facilitating safe travel for devotees. The Bhumi Pujan ceremony was attended by Talcher MLA Braja Kishore Pradhan, CGM, NTPC, Kaniha Ashok Kumar Sehgal, GM (Maintenance) A J Rajkumar, HR Head BK Pandey and other officials. These solar street lights, a testament to NTPC's commitment to environmental sustainability and community welfare, will be strategically installed in and around the temple area, ensuring well-lit pathways and safer surroundings for devotees visiting the temple.
